“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” - Amelia Earhart
looking back on the last year, it's easy to immediately think of what didn't happen; the weddings, the graduations, the holiday gatherings...
but lately, we at worthy have been pausing and thinking, what did happen?
who were the ones that Earhart would have praised for making that leap, for taking positive action amidst a season of shutdowns? that's why, to cap off this memorable year, we decided to launch a series called 20 for 2020, highlighting 20 of the organizations, activists, and changemakers that inspired us this year to continue to push ourselves and our brand to grow and thrive.
from Kamala Harris, the first woman and BIPOC individual to be elected to serve as United Stated Vice President, to Anika Trebrolu, the fourteen-year-old girl who recently discovered a molecule that many hope will lead to a potential cure of COVID-19, we've found that this year brought more wins than the often-dispiriting mainstream daily news affords us.
who or what was your 2020 hero? leave us a comment and let us know!
